Chicken and Noodles or Turkey and Dumplings

Many of you have asked for my recipe for Chicken and Noodles and Turkey and Dumplings. These recipes are basically interchangeable and super easy! We love this kind of comfort food in the fall and winter, so I'm always looking for new and different ways to do them. A big thanks goes out to my friend, Traci, for showing me how to make the easiest Chicken and Noodles ever! :)

Chicken and Noodles

1 package Reames frozen noodles or flat dumplings
1 quart chicken broth
1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken or turkey
1 - 2 cups added water

Directions

Bring broth to boiling. Add noodles to broth and cook according to package directions stirring frequently. Add water or extra broth as needed to keep noodles from sticking. When noodles are almost done cooking, add chicken or turkey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Yes, it is that easy! You could also do the same recipe with leftover roast and beef broth. It is one of our favorites! Hope you enjoy it.
